SMG in 'The Grudge'

Behind the scenes footage from Sarah Michelle Gellar's new movie.
Sarah Michelle Gellar has been keeping herself busy since Buffy ended last year. She'll soon return as Daphne in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, released in the UK on April 2nd, and is currently in Japan filming horror movie The Grudge.
A Hollywood remake of the 2003 Japanese movie Ju-On: The Grudge, the film concerns a virus-like curse that hits certain people at death, only to be passed along to a new victim.
Gellar plays Karen, an American nurse living in Tokyo, who gets assigned to a mysterious and malevolent house where horrific events have taken place.
The Movie Box website has recently uploaded some behind the scenes footage from the movie. It shows Sarah Michelle Gellar larking about on set with director Takashi Shimizu who also helmed the original. There is also an interview with the Buffy star and her co-stars Jason Behr (Roswell) and Bill Pullman (Independence Day).
The Grudge is on course for an autumn 2004 release.
Notes from mistymidnight: 'The Grudge' is a regular BtVS reunion! Jason Behr of the TV show 'Roswell' played Buffy's old crush Billy Fordham in episode 2.07, 'Lie To Me'. Clea DuVall also stars in the movie. You may (or may not) remember her as Marcie the Invisible Girl in episode 1.11, 'Out of Mind, Out of Sight'.
