Scroll case w/tiny lock: The tiny lock is actually more like a clasp. It is about 1.5" in size and has a tiny iron pick that is used as the key. Inserted into the lock the pick pops open the clasp and allows the case to be opened. The clasp is merely to keep the case from opening accidentally under most circumstances.
Open Lock (DC 5) to open or Strength check (DC 5) to break open.
Bolt Cutters: This cutting tool can cut through chains, thin metal, and iron bars. When used against objects (usually metal) that are no thicker than 1 inch in diameter, bolt cutters deal 15 points of damage to that item, including any modifier for Strength. Weight: 5lbs.
Hacksaw: This blade is designed to cut through thin metal. It ignores the hardness of any normal metal objects (excluding exotic metals like mithril and adamantine) that it is cutting, but deals only 1 point of damage per 2 rounds of cutting.
A common blade lasts for 20 rounds of cutting before becoming dull.
A superior blade lasts for 40 rounds of cutting before becoming dull.
