Hosted by Bob's son Jon and Jon's amazing wife (and new mother of Domenic) Toni-Ruth, at a gorgeous home on the Indian Palms Golf Course in Palm Desert, CA. rented for this event.

Bob's daughter Jana, son Joe and all his grandchildren arrived from Santa Cruz, Fresno and San Luis Obispo much to his surprise.

Bob's nephews Billy, Steve (Duke) and Billy's wife Claire arrived from MA on Thursday night. Their sister, Patricia (a/k/a "Cuzzin Patty" or "Miss" to me and my friends) surprised me and her brothers by by driving from Hilton Head, SC. Sorely missed were Bob's brother "Uncle' Bill and niece Carrie Ellen.

My siblings, Dan, Nanci and Lianne, best brother-in-law Barry, nephews Nick Giampietro & Jeff Lang arrived from MA on Friday.
Cuzzin Bobby D ('Dick') DeLuca and I drove down from Monterey. There's a story here of keys locked in the car and a missed shortcut, but that's ANOTHER story!

What a time we had! One surprise after another for Bob. A Pasta Party at Bob & Patti's on Friday night where the relatives viewed delightful old movies of the family compiled by Jana Zerpoli. Tears came easily as we witnessed those who had passed, though we knew they were with us in spirit.

A 20 team 2-Man Scramble Golf Tournament on Sat. at the Country Club was another surprise for Bob with more friends. The Awards Ceremony provided many laughs and great prizes!

Saturday night more surprise guests and lots of eating, drinking and talking with our hands at a spectaular catered buffet at Jon & Toni-Ruth's!

Sunday morning a yummy breakfast at Bob and Patti's for those of us departing for Monterey. The rest departed Monday morning full of great memories and a renewed sense of family and friends
