Our
voyage begins in a descent into the unknown; we turn the page, only to discover
a new article on life:
Chapter 1 -"Revamping the status quo"
After all this time, (25 years, and roughly 1.5 months) , it seems
as if I am only now reaching my second plateau of self-discovery.
This, of course, does not mean that there has been a lack of a
perpetual motion in self-development. It merely means that I have
not hit a peak that has require so much redefining in the past, as
it does now; perhaps this time I will surpass the height of which I
have reached before. I travel with an eager anticipation at
what will be lurking around the next corridor, or who will decide to
peak their head out of the many doorways that align themselves,
single file, on either side of my manic Self.
As
I re-define the reality of the situation I am able to draw the
conclusion that, while some things require change, and that a
release of an abscess is a good thing, one must not forget about
what has led us here. Living in the past is the same as a live man
walking in the cemetery looking to find a new best friend. That is
not to say that we do not need the past as much as we must
have the future, because as we know, the past is the
essential key to both the present and the future; therefore, lets
not forget the past, we shall bring it along with us, but only as a
guiding tool, not as a sand bag.

Chapter 2 -"Re-Inventing the Self"
I now
enter a dimension where it is time to create a new design for
living. Everything of the past has been altered to a point where the
model no longer serves it's purpose; it has become useless and
unneeded. The plan includes new guidelines based on what is now
desired, needed, as well as what is unwanted. New definitions are
relatively difficult to harness, which becomes an abstract at best.
Emotions and nights of foggy-drunken-slumbers can lead to a chase of
an illusive dream; not that it is bad to dream; not at all! As a
matter of fact, that is what helps us through the banality of it
all. It is the crude awakenings from this twisted bliss that can
leave the Self as a reckless pit. Therefore the new model must be
created with time, care, understanding, and, (most importantly), a
recognition of what went wrong the last time.
Identifying the problematic source is not always as crystal as it
sounds; in fact, it's not nearly audible. Therefore, caution now
becomes my best friend. Yet, needless to say that unattached
entanglements are unquestionably allotted; even still, they are
actually welcomed. The only darkness could come from a dour turn due
to ill events. I suppose I shall have to smell out each "potion"
before labeling Their tags with the inscribed marking: Caution:
Poison!
