Lestat (Queen of the Damned)
Lestat was a mere twenty years of age when he was turned by Magnus, he was also a Seventh son. He was responsible for siring Louis, Claudia, Gabrielle, Nicolas, etc.

Louis
Sired by Lestat when he was twenty five years old, a plantation owner, from New Orleans. Said, by the others, to be the most human of them all.


Claudia
Claudia was only five at the time of her death, she was sired by Lestat, in an attempt to bind Louis to him. Claudia develops a taste for killing whole families, but especially favours mothers and daughters.


David
David Talbot was Superior General of the Talamasca. When offered the "Dark Gift" by Lestat, David refuses. Later he recieves a new body, as a result of a strange form of possession, and he finally accepts Lestats offer.



Other Characters

Santiago (the trickster)
Santiago is the sinister vampire who follows Louis around Paris when he searches there for other vampires. It is also Santiago who orders that Louis be locked in a coffin at the Paris coven, and bricked up in a wall, to die. Louis escapes, with help from Armand, he burns down the theatre and cuts off Santiago's head with a scythe.
