This fanfic occurs two years afterThe Final Confrontation, The season finale. Von Reichter is presumed dead and Cybersix still has to cross-dress daily to go to work.

Previously: Cybersix finds, to her surprise and delight that she is not the last Cyber. Another had survived Von Reichter's genocide: Cyber 338, who was now called Kayla. Through a human's compassion, and a genetic experiment called Resurrection, the cyber had been rescued after being killed at nine and brought back to life.
Tragically, though, she died shortly after staying in Meridiana.
