REFLECTIONS OF YOU
A POETRY BY BELLADONNA

Thou packed up thy baggage,
Thy Quest was done
Thy duties were over
Thy battles were won

And

Then it did happen,
We met on the road,
Your grin ever widened
My face all aglow

I ran to accept thee
Arms open wide,
We hugged and we kissed,
Our hearts sang with glee.

The air filled with excitement,
As we spun and we laughed,
Thy journey was ended
Our souls rejoined at last.

We made haste to the inn,
To speak of thy quest,
Of dragons and battles,
How thy accomplished thy best

And

Then thou asked me
What I had done on thy journey away
So I spoke of the things
That had brought me through

T'was

Always my memories of thee
The smiles that so freely
Thou gavest unto me,
Thy laughter, Like music
Imprinted in my heart,

And

Thine of eyes of adoration
Still shown in my life.
And then I faltered,
Not sure how to say,

T'was

Always thy kisses
By night and by day
Which gave me courage
As I awaited thy return.

And

When all was finished,
Our stories told,
Thy hands held my hands
So tender, so warm

Then

Thine eyes looked into mine eyes
Loves window opened wide
And The souls of two lovers
Once again, converged

Slowly my lips parted and merged with thine
To relay my heartfelt message
I had waited to say

"Welcome home my Sweetheart,
I have missed thee so much,
Thou art forever and always

My Heart

My Love

MY LIFE!"
