Things I didn’t want to learn

Nothing is permanent, not a snowman, not even a mountain.
There are no absolutes, no one is all good or all bad. All or none and black and white thinking are defensive and inaccurate..
We make thousands of choices a day; odds are many will be wrong.
Success does not foster growth, failure forces change.
If God lives, it is in our minds: maybe we should take some credit for the goodness we extend.

If we want more control, let’s start with self-control.

I would rather bring Muhammad to the mountain, even if I had to use a headlock!
I didn’t learn anything useful in Kindergarten. I barely learned anything useful in college.
