There are many stories related to the sinking of the Titanic, many of these are being revealed since "The King of the World" James Cameron created the mega hit, Titanic. One such story:
Few people are aware that in 1912, Hellmans Mayonnaise was made in England. The Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment for delivery in Mexico, which was to be the next stop for the ill fated oceanliner following NYC.
The people of Mexico were so overwhelmed by the loss; not of human life but of their precious condiment that they created a day of mourning, which is still observed today: Sinko de Mayo
