Mr. Grinch became known in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. He was later weaseling his way into other stories by Dr. Seuss. Examples are: "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat," where Dr. Seuss' two mascots face off. Also, Grinch, as mentioned before, has a Halloween special, "Grinch Night". Even though Grinch Night was a Halloween special, starring Grinch in a more comfortable role, Christmas is when Grinch is most popular and is well-known. Grinch has certainly, as he once said, come back when Jim Carrey agreed to be Grinch. But, let's not forget Seuss' widow. It was she who had full say what went and what stayed. She guards Seuss' stories closely and certianly is cery cautious on who gets to do what with them. This was simply to get the page started. When I have more on Grinch and Seuss, I'll be coming back.
