The new Suicide Squad Series
Review:
Nr 1) The members of the old
Injustice League/Justice League Antarctica -- Major Disaster, Clock King,
Cluemaster, Big Sir and Multi-Man -- are sent on a mission for the federal
government to rescue a mad scientist type from a secured bunker. No problem for
a quintet of super-villains, right? Don't count on it.
Nr 2) soon
Nr 3) A team of super-villains --
some well known, and some new names -- are sent to a central American country to
stop a swarm of hostile, intelligent, man-eating ants from wreaking havoc
worldwide. Personality conflicts and underestimation lead to disaster, and all
the Suicide Squad control team can do is watch from afar. Little do any of them
know that things are going exactly according to plan. Three of the DC Universe's
deadliest villains: Killer Frost, Bolt, and the hellish Hellgrammite enlist with
the Squad and they're just in time to be overrun by an army of six-legged
killers. Will their first mission be their last?! Plus more on Rock and the main
team as more clues are revealed as to who's really behind this new Suicide
Squad.
Nr 4) A DC FULL COVERAGE!
entry-point issue! In "Need to Know," classic Sgt. Rock artist Russ
Heath illustrates a flashback sequence, returning to the character he helped
make unforgettable, in this special tale that begins to answer the question of
what Rock has been up to since 1945. When his government sends him up against
his old enemy the Iron Major, Rock must get help from a most unlikely source:
the Suicide Squad!
Nr 5) "The
Jerk". Modem, the Suicide Squad's tech expert, finds himself with a new
identity in a trailer park in the middle of nowhere, waiting for word of his
next assignment to come through. Unfortunately for him, Dottie has designated
herself the local welcome wagon, and she doesn't plan on leaving him alone, even
if he does act like a jerk. Meanwhile, an assassin with a history with the
Suicide Squad is hot on his trail.
Nr 6) soon
Nr 7) The
Squad struggles to infiltrate a mysterious city that has risen on the
near-forgotten island of Kooeykooeykooey — a civilization that has a signed
agreement claiming ownership of Earth! Can Rock's hastily formed squad of
Deadshot, Killer Frost, Major Disaster, Reactron, and Blackstarr stop trying to
kill each other long enough to prevent the strange landlords from closing the
doors of our entire planet?

Nr 8) In "Casualties of
War," everyone loves an island party; unfortunately the Squad just got
caught crashing, and there's a late fee to be paid in blood! Now these crafty
convicts must pool their dwindling resources and figure out how to defeat an
attacking populace that can't be killed.
Nr 9) soon
Nr 10) Get ready to go back in
time, with a flashback sequence illustrated by the legendary John Severin! Rock
recounts his brush with time travel as the mystery of Rock’s and Bulldozer’s
aging (or lack thereof) begins to unravel. Guest-stars include folks that
you’d never think you’d see again! Rick Flagg and Rip Hunter make easy
company in a war that time forgot.
