Chapter Three
"I'm so glad we're finally here," Claire said as the five girls walked over to the baggage pick-up at the airport in Malaga.
"Me too," Becky said, locating her suitcase and pulling it off the rotating belt.
The rest of the girls picked up their suitcases, and together they walked outside into the warm morning sun. Kara looked around and spotted two taxis parked side by side. "Come on, let's get those taxis. We're gonna need both of them."
The girls rushed over to the two cabs. "Taxi," Laura called. The cabby in one of the cars looked up. "Mis amigas y yo nececitamos ir a nuestra hotel." The cabby nodded and opened the trunk and began loading suitcases into it.
Kara looked at Laura. "You, Claire, and Margie go with this one, and Becky and I will take the other one. We'll meet you in the lobby of the hotel."
"Okay," Laura, Claire, and Margie got into the cab and they were off.
Kara and Becky took their suitcases over to the other taxi. "Buenos dias," the taxi driver greeted them.
"Buenas dias," Kara replied. "Nececitamos ir al Hotel Bali, en Benalmadena."
"Sí, claro," the cabby put the girls' suitcases in the trunk of the car. He opened the back-seat door for them to get in, then he went around and got in the driver's seat. He pulled out of the airport parking lot and headed toward the coast and the girls' hotel.
Claire, Laura, and Margie arrived at the hotel first. The cabby helped them carry their luggage into the hotel. They paid him, and he left. The girls went and found seats where they could easily see the door, and they sat down to wait for Kara and Becky to arrive, talking quietly with each other.

The five men arrived at the airport and were ushered through customs and out into a waiting limo. Two bodyguards accompanied them, while the other three stayed at the airport to collect the guys' luggage off the plane and deliver it to the hotel.
"So what is the name of the hotel we're staying at?" Nick asked.
"The Hotel Bali," Kevin replied as the limo left the airport and headed towards the hotel.
"Is it really close to the beach?" Nick asked "I wanna go there this afternoon.
"I've never been there, but I thinks it's supposed to be," Kevin said.
"I think maybe I'll check it out, too," Brian said. "Maybe we'll meet some good-looking girls."
Howie grinned. "Well, when you put it like that, maybe I'll go, too."
The five guys talked and joked among themselves until they got to the hotel. The limo pulled up to a stop in front of the hotel. The guys put on sunglasses and baseball caps before they got out of the limo. They walked in a tight group with their two bodyguards into the lobby of the hotel.

"So what do you guys wanna do this afternoon?" Margie asked Claire and Laura.
"I want to go shopping," Laura replied.
"I was thinking about maybe..." Claire trailed off as her eyes riveted on the door. "...doing whatever they're doing," she finished breathlessly.
"Margie and Laura both followed Claire's gaze to the door, where seven men had just entered the hotel. Two of the men were big and muscular, wearing black jackets which said "security" on the backs, and dark sunglasses. It was difficult to see what the other five men looked like, because they were all wearing dark sunglasses and baseball hats.
"Hmm... I wonder who they are," Laura said.
"I don't know, but I plan on finding out," Claire stated determinedly.
The three girls watched as the guys joked and laughed with each other. One of them glanced over and saw Claire, Margie, and Laura. He flashed a smile at them as the men left the desk and headed upstairs.
As soon as the guys were out of sight, Claire got up and walked over to the front desk. "Excuse me," she said. "Could you tell me who those men that were just here are?"
"I'm sorry miss, but they've requested that we not give out any information about them," the clerk replied apologetically.
"Alright, thank you." Disappointed, Claire walked back to where Margie and Laura were still sitting.
"Well? What did he say?" Margie asked.
"He said that the guys asked that the clerk not give out any information about them." Claire replied.
"They must be pretty important people, to be taking so many precautions," Laura said.
Just then Kara and Becky arrived, both of them loaded down with luggage. Margie, Laura, and Claire jumped up and rushed over to help them bring their bags in. They set everything down with the rest of their luggage, and the five girls went up to the front desk to check in.
"Buenas dias," the desk clerk greeted them.
"Buenas dias," Laura replied. "Habla usted ingles?"
"Sí, claro," the clerk answered. "Now what can I do for you?"
"We need to check in. We have two rooms, both under McKenna," Laura said.
"Let me see..." The desk clerk punched a few keys on the computer. "Ah, here we are. Rooms 311 and 312." The clerk reached up and pulled two keys off a rack behind the desk. He handed them to Laura.
"Thank you," Laura said. She handed one of the keys to Kara. "You and Becky take 311, and Claire, Margie and I will take the other room."
Kara nodded in agreement. The five girls said thanks to the clerk, and went to collect their luggage.
"How are we going to get this all up three flights of stairs?" Claire asked as she struggled to pick up her two large duffel bags and carry-on.
"We'll take the elevator," Kara said. She picked up her backpack and began pulling her giant suitcase towards the elevator.
Becky picked up her luggage and rushed after Kara. "We'll meet you guys upstairs," she called over her shoulder.
