Chapter Four

"Hey, did you guys see those chicks in the lobby when we were checking in?" AJ asked.
"Yeah," Howie replied. "Wonder if they're staying here."
"Probably. We'll have to see if we can find them later." Brian spoke up.
"The red-head was pretty hot," AJ said. "I wonder what she's doing later."
"I'm sure you'll find out," Nick said, grinning at AJ.
"I'm sure I'll be a part of whatever she's doing," AJ stated confidently.
"Yeah, we'll see," Howie laughed.
"Yo Kev, we doin' that concert tonight or tomorrow night?" Brian asked.
"Tomorrow night. You guys are on your own tonight," Kevin said.
"Cool," Nick said He glanced at his watch and saw that it was only eleven o'clock. "I'm gonna get food and hit the beach. Anyone wanna come?"
"I'll come," Brian spoke up quickly.
"Yeah, me too," Howie chimed in.
"You guys coming?" Nick asked Kevin and AJ.
"Nah, I think I'm just gonna chill here for a while," Kevin replied.
"Me too," AJ said. "I think I'll try and find the red-head." He grinned wickedly.
"Good luck man," Howie said to AJ.
"Yeah man. If you find her, put in a good word for me with her blond friend," Brian added.
AJ raised his hand in a mock salute. "Will do," he said.
Nick, Brian, and Howie all went to their rooms to change, then headed to the dining room to get food before going to the beach.
"So what are you gonna do?" Kevin asked AJ after the other three guys left.
"I'm gonna ask at the front desk about that girl, then I'm gonna check out the pool," AJ replied. "You wanna come?"
"No thanks. I think I'm gonna get something to eat, then maybe later I'll meet you at the pool."
"Alright, cool. See ya later man," AJ grabbed a hat and a pair of sunglasses and headed out the door.
Kevin took a quick shower before going to the dining room to get something to eat, then he too, went to the pool.

* * * * *
Two hours after they'd arrived at the hotel, the five girls had finished unpacking and were lounging around in Kara and Becky's room. "I wonder who those guys are," Claire said dreamily.
"You're still thinking about them?" Laura asked in astonishment.
"Yup," Claire replied. "If they're here as long as we are, this is going to be a really great vacation."
"How can you be so obsessed with these guys when you've never even seen their faces" Becky asked.
"You didn't see them did you? They've got great bodies, so it's only natural that they have good looking faces, too." Claire replied. "Ask Laura and Margie if you don't believe me. They saw them, too."
Laura and Margie nodded in agreement. "They did have great bodies," Margie admitted.
"Hey, you wanna go look for them?" Laura asked.
"Sure. You guys wanna help?" Claire directed her question to Kara and Becky.
"Sure, why not?" Becky shrugged. "I don't know how much help I'll be though, considering that I've never seen them."
"No problem," Laura said. "We'll split up. Becky you can come with me and Claire, and Kara can go with Margie."
The girls all nodded in agreement. "Now who wants to go where?" Claire asked.
"Well, I kinda wanted to go to the beach anyway..." Claire said. "so the three of us could look there."
"Okay, and Kara and I will check out the hotel and the pool," Margie replied.
Having established this, the girls split up. They all changed into their swimsuits, then Claire, Laura, and Becky set off for the beach, while Kara and Margie were left behind to search the hotel.
"So where should we start?" Margie asked Kara. "You know this place better than I do."
Kara thought for a minute. "Let's start on the ground floor. There's a lot of places there they could be."
"Cool, let's go." They left the room and took the elevator downstairs.
After looking around the lobby and seeing that no one was there, Kara and Margie decided to check the lounge. The walked through the double doors and saw that a dance lesson was taking place. Some upbeat music was playing, and a dark haired man was teaching a group of kids how to dance.
Kara and Margie watched for a minute, then Kara said in surprise, "Hey, I know that dance."
Margie watched, confused, as Kara ran over and joined the kids on the dance floor. The instructor looked up in surprise, then smiled when he saw that she knew all the steps of the dance.
The music ended, and the instructor said to the kids, "Very good. I'll see you all back here tonight."
Kara stood quietly until all the kids left, then she went over to the man. "Xavi, how are you?"
The instructor studied her for a minute. "Kara?" he asked her. She nodded and he continued. "I'm doing very well, and how are you?"
"I'm doing pretty good. I can't believe that you're still working here." Kara laughed, a little bit surprised that he actually remembered her. "And you're still teaching that dance. I learned it a year ago, the last time I was here."
"That's right, you did. What are you doing back here?"
"I'm on vacation with my friends. We're gonna be here for two weeks. Speaking of friends," Kara motioned for Margie to come over. "This is my friend Margie Jamieson. Margie, this is Xavi Rodriguez. Xavi is the entertainment director here."
"It's nice to meet you," Margie said, holding out her hand.
Ignoring her hand, Xavi walked up to her and kissed her on both cheeks, in the customary European greeting. "It's good to meet you, too."
"Hey, do you think you could help us with something?" Kara asked Xavi.
"Claro, what is it?" Xavi replied.
"Well, we're looking for some guys that checked in this morning, around nine o'clock. There are five of them, right Marg.?" Kara looked at Margie for confirmation.
"Right," Margie answered. "They all came in wearing baseball hats and sunglasses, so we didn't get a good look at their faces. But a couple of them were really tall, and one was really short, like Kara's height."
"Oh gee thanks, Margie, let me remind you that I'm not the shortest in our group, Laura is."
"I know, but you're still shorter than I am," Margie defended herself.
"By only two inches!" Kara shot back.
Xavi chucked to himself, watching the argument with amusement. "I haven't seen anybody, but I'll keep an eye out. If I see anyone like that, you'll be the first to know."
"Thanks, Xavi," Margie said.
"Hey, are you doing a show tonight?" Kara asked.
"Sí, claro. You will come?" Xavi asked.
"Yeah, I'll try to drag all my friends down, so you can meet them," Kara replied.
Xavi smiled with pleasure. "Good. And maybe you'll be a special guest on stage?"
"Maybe."
"Hokey-kokey," Xavi grinned again.
"Well, we have to get going. We'll see you later." Kara gave Xavi a kiss on each cheek, and Xavi did the same to her.
Kara and Margie turned to leave, but before they could go anywhere, Xavi put a hand on Kara's shoulder. "What?" she asked.
"What room are you staying in?" Xavi asked her.
"I'm in 311, and Margie's in 312," Kara answered.
"Good, I'll see you later," Xavi said.
"Bye," Kara and Margie finally left the lounge.
"So where do we go now?" Margie asked Kara.
"Let's just go to the pool. Maybe we'll run into them there," Kara replied.
Margie voiced her agreement, and the two girls headed out to the pool.

"Claire, can we please just pick a spot and stay there?" Laura asked. "We've been walking up and down the beach for like 45 minutes now."
"Yeah Claire. If the guys were here we would have found them by now. Let's just enjoy the beach," Becky chimed in, agreeing with Laura.
"Oh, alright," Claire replied dejectedly. They chose a spot and spread their towels out on the sand.
Claire layed down on her stomach, and raised her head in her hands. "I really thought they might be here." She frowned, staring at the ground.
Becky sat down beside her. "Maybe Kara and Margie found them," Becky suggested.
"And if they didn't, we can always look again tonight." Laura said, spreading her towel out on Claire's other side.
Claire looked at her friends, "I guess you're right. She smiled. "Did you guys see the guy back there..."
Laura and Becky looked at each other and groaned. Here we go again...
