I'm Every Place
Mom and Dad don't mourn for me,
I'm still here, though you don't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day,
And within your heart I long to stay.
My body is gone, but I'm always near.
I'm everything you see, feel or hear.
My spirit is free, I'll never depart,
As long as you keep me alive in your heart.
I'll never wander out of your sight,
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach,
I'm the warm, moist sand when you're at the beach.
I'm the colorful leaves when Fall comes around,
And the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear, cool waters in a quiet pond.
I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the Spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
And you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.
When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
You can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer throught the leaves on the trees,
And you'll feel my presence in the soft Summer breeze.
I'm the salty tears that flow when you weep,
And the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face,
Just look for me, I'm every place.

A Mandella
Inspired by Michael
A short time ago, I visited the website
of another young man taken from
this earth before his time.
I was utterly amazed at some
of the beautiful symbols
and artwork contained within,
especially what appeared to be a
dream catcher. For those not
familiar with such an item,
dream catchers were designed to trap
bad dreams in their web,
therefore protecting the owner
from bad dreams and nightmares.
I was later to learn that
this was not a dream catcher that I
had viewed, but a Mandella.
Unlike a dream catcher,
a mandella is most commonly thought
to protect the owner by
warding off bad spirits.
With Michael in mind,
I contacted the designer
of these beautiful pieces of art,
and inquired as to whether or not
I could have one designed in his memory.
What you see below
is the end result.
Thank you Janet, from
the bottom of my heart,
for such a beautiful
tribute to my precious son.
If you would like Janet to
design a mandella for you,
