ALL ABOUT REBECCA WASHINGTON!!!!!!.
Rebecca has been a part of the firm since its very
beginning and she has always been there for Bobby, as
both a friend, a paralegal and later a lawyer.
Rebecca is Bobby's sounding board and conscience,
always there to snap him back into the game on issues
involving both law and love. Bobby rewarded Rebecca
for this late in the second season, when despite her
not being a lawyer, he made her a partner in the firm.
At the beginning of the third season it was revealed
through a letter that, after studying at night school,
Rebecca had passed the bar. She was immediately
accepted into the firm as a lawyer, making way for new
paralegal Lucy Hatcher. Rebecca has always been
outspoken about the firms' tactics and her disgust for
their sometimes dirty ploys.
Rebecca has proven her courage on many occasions, such
as witnessing a murder and then testifying, and
threats against her life and Bobby's doubts. She has
also gone undercover to bust an insurance fraud ring
and is outspoken about her beliefs in animals rights,
so much so that she won the 'Save our Animals
foundations' 1998 Basset Hound award.
Rebecca (to Bobby): "I was talking about the Robin
case. You kiss Helen Gamble, Lindsay; there was that
whiny thing in the skirt and now Lucy. WHAT'S WRONG
WITH YOU??"
