Lucy Hatcher is the Donnell, Young , Dole and Frutt secretary. She was taken in as part of the family, when Rebecca passed the bar and became a lawyer. With a bubbly personality she had quite a bit of trouble fitting in at the firm since her first day in the episode 302. "Reasons To Believe". She was blunt, saying everything and anything athat came to her mind, even when it came to the point of offending other people. At one point she felt so out of place and not wanted that she decided to quit. But in true The Practice style, Bobby told her the only reason the firmws being so mean to her was because they loved her. But Lucy realised the truth in what Bobby was saying herself when the firm helped her in the rough times of both when there was a hidden camera in her bathroom and when the dentist secretly bit her.

Known for her weird yet nice outfits, she never lets herself be intimidated, which was the special advice her mother gave her before passing away. Though of course Ellenor seems to intimidate her quite frequently., which then leads to the point where she runs off and hides behind Eugene.

As for Lucy's love life, she was and could possibly still be dating her celtic basketball player boyfriend. Though this doesn't stop her from trying to match everyone else in the firm with a partner. She even assumed that Rebecca was a lesbian and called her a butch, which led her to Bobby's office…..again…..to have a "talking to".

Despite her funny antics, the firm would not want her any different. She has become part of The Practice family.
