Hi Michelle, I just had to spit it out.
Just like you when I went to the store to get this album, I thought that it was going to be good, I waited all this time for a good follow up to the shitty limp album Significant Other. I got the album the day that it came out, and I listened to it, and I managed to get through the whole thing without throwing it against the wall (what a surprise), but after I was done with it, I thought, What a piece of shit!!!
1. Intro- it sounded kinda trippy but I guess that was OK
2. Hot Dog- this song is annoying and it pissed me off, Fred is obviously in
love with the F word and he made fun of Trent Reznor and stole his lyrics, he
says the f word after every other word he says, its really annoying
3. Generation-In this useless song, Fred is bitching about how people hate
him, ohh I wonder why????
4. Full Nelson-This song has an OK sound but its a hypocritical song because
Fred is telling the audience not to talk shit but he talks shit himself!
5. My Way-this is an alright song but I got tired of hearing it fast, and the
video is so unoriginal Argghhh!!!!
6.Rollin- a song that is way overplayed on the radio, and it gets quite
annoying after awhile, but I guess the song deserves a 6 on a scale of 10,
its an ok song....
7. Livin it up.... ARGGHHH, the lyrics on this song suck and I think that
Fred wrote them in like 10 minutes, he really sucks at writing lyrics
8. The One... I agree with you that it sounds like a love song written by the
fagstreet boys.... It definitely shouldn't have been sung by LB
9. Getcha Groove on... this song is just pure rap crap with no point to it,
and there's no band, that pisses me off... I thought that Limp Bizkit was a
band, not a rap group
10. Take a look Around ... this is the only song on this album that I really
like because of the sound, but I didn't like the subject that its about
people hating Fred, here we go AGAIN!!
11. It'll be Ok... what the hell? Is this about some kind of mushy crap? Nice
try but no cigar Fred...
12. Boiler.... Yet another crappy song, what a surprise ... NOT
13. Hold on... This was an ok song, I guess becuase there was no rapping
involved in it and it was a little bit harder
14. Rollin (Urban Assault vehicle)- another song with just pure rap crap, I
didn't even bother to get through the whole song because I think that rap is
annoying
15. Outro- I like the outro because it made me laugh and I like things that
make me laugh
Overall, however, the album sucked, but it was a little better than
significant other. But NOT much at all. Maybe if Limp got a new frontman
than, the band would be heavier but I am not going to be surprised that the
next album they make will have more and more rap. I would NOT recommend this
album to someone else and it definitely deserves teenybopper album of the
year...
