MEASUREMENTS:
A "How-To" Guide
* When taking measurements, remember to keep the measuring tape comfortably
loose
|
CHEST
Measure around
your body, under your arms and over the fullest part of your bust/chest.
|
SLEEVES
With arm relaxed
at your side and slightly bent, measure from center back of neck, over point
of shoulder, and down the outside of arm to the wrist.
|
TORSO
Measure straight down
the front of your body from your shoulder to mid thigh.
|
WAIST
Measure around
your body at your natural waistline.
|
THAT
"HIPSTER" FIT
If you want a
looser fitting pant/skirt that rides lower on your hips, just measure around
your body between your waist and hips where you want the pant/skirt to sit.
|
HIPS
Measure around the
fullest part of your hips, placing the tape about midway between your crotch
and belly button (approximately 8 inches below your natural waistline).

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
FOR HANDMADE PANTS
Take a pair of
pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Measure the distance along
the inseam between the crotch seam and the leg hem.
