Roles and Responsibilities of Officer/Teacher-in-charge and VAL

 

1.             Preparing Work Plans and Training Programmes

6.             Keeping school informed of all activities outside the normal training programme (Change of programme, venue, timing etc.)

7.             Keeping school informed of any incidents and accidents (Emergency Action Plan)

8.             VAL should liaise with Officer/Teacher-in-charge and not with cadets

9.             Officer/Teacher-in-charge is the liaison between the VAL and the school

10.         Officer/Teacher-in-charge should monitor the attendance of cadets and take appropriate action or absentees

11.         Officer/Teacher-in-charge should monitor the progress of the cadets

12.         Officer/Teacher-in-charge is to provide necessary logistics and administrative support (Booking of busses, rooms, consent forms etc.)
