CLARA AND CLARENCE BATTLE
Fighting was a rare occurrence for the Klunks. But when they fought this happened quite often. Clarence would be setting up in the tree and the neighbors would look over there as they went by saying to themselves, Looks like the Klunks had another battle.

COOL
KLUNKERVILLE TEENAGER
In Klunkerville this is what is considered to be cool. Many teenagers dress like this. Their rebellious act gets a lot of the parents worried about them. Where will this type of behavior lead they wonder.
ATEMPT
TO END TEENAGE COOL ATIRE
The teenage cool attire has gone too far. To end this horrible epidemic the parents and older members of the town decided to show the teenagers just how silly they really looked. Practically everyone in town dressed as the teenagers. At first the teens in Klunkerville thought the older ones looked silly and it looked like it was working. Eventually the teenagers decided in their cool way of speaking, “We sure have hot dog cool parents in our groovy town. Eventually it was decided to give this temp up. We did with another serious side effect which we didn’t expect. A few older members stayed dressed this way. This like all other crazes will come to an end but not soon enough for Klunkerville.
THUNDERBOLT
This is a poor individual we feel very sorry for. He is a resident in our town who kind of went out of his head. He saw at the picture show various super heroes. He wanted to do his part to fight crime in our town. Here he is as Thunderbolt. So far the only thing he succeeded in doing is while trying to save a cat in the river he almost drowned himself, He nearly broke his neck in saving a man in a tree. It happened when his cape got caught on the branch and he practally strangled himself. One day he tried flying and jumped off a porch swing. Fortunately he was all right but the swing broke. We hope that his stay at the asylum will get him straightened out and back on the right track again. We hated to send him there but it was for his own good.
