Freshly back from the U2 concert in Montreal, I (Meg) have been inspired to make a new web page about campaigns USABB and its members support. So! I've listed them here and the links to their homepages, if you want to check them out. (And if anyone from any of these organizations has a problem with us associating their names with USABB, drop us a line and we'll begrudge you, then take the link down.)
USABB Supports:
, especially in their efforts to halt logging in Canada's Great Bear Rainforest.
Amnesty International, especially in their efforts to wipe our torture and free all prisoners of conscience.
Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada and their "Bring your own condom!" campaign.
Leonard Peltier Defense committee and their commendable campaign to fight wrongful incarceration and racism in the US courts.
The Movement for Democratic Change in Zimbabwe, who are being systematically killed by tyrant Robert Mugabe's secret police, ZANU-PF.
