People have accused the Harry Potter books of being "occult oriented" and "centred around negative things."

These same people ave accused Of Mice and Men of being sacreligious and of "displaying terrible things in humanity."


If books that contain sexual references, people doing upsetting things and blasphemy should be censored... then so should the Bible. The Bible contains much of this! It is not encouraging of any of this behaviour, but neither are these books! If we ban anything that makes reference to the darker side of humanity, then how are we to know what is damaging?

Shakespeare's works often contain sexual references and cursing. So does the Bible. So...
