Assata Shakur is a revolutionary women who after 10 unsuccessful attempts by the FBI to frame her was finally convicted of the shooting of a New Jersey State Trooper. The specifics of this case and trial are just as outrageous as all the other cases but the difference is that Shakur broke out of prison. Shakur lives in exile in Cuba, she managed to escape her unjust imprisonment. The most important aspect of Shakur’s story is that she is free today, although the U.S. Government continues in their attempt to extradite her. Amidst all the frame-ups and secret killings Shakur has triumphed and beaten our oppressive government. This goes to show that truly they can’t get us all. THEY ARE NOT INVINCIBLE.
