The One Chapter 11
Present Time- Doctor's Office
"Star, I'm scared," Isabel said in the waiting room.
"Why?"
"What if I am pregnant? What about Howie's career?"
"Howie will just have to deal."
Isabel sighed. "I guess so. Can you come in with me?"
"Sure, but I'm not looking down there!"
Isabel laughed. "I wasn't expecting you to!"
"Isabel Dorough!"
"This is it," she said softly.

"Hi, Isabel. I'm Dr. Marshall," he said as he shook Isabel's hand. He turned to Star.
"I'm Star Anderson. I'm Isabel's friend," she said as she shook Dr. Marshall's hand.
He nodded. "All right then. Isabel, we need a urine sample, and we're going to do a blood test....."
About an hour later, Isabel found out that she was two months pregnant and in perfect health. As her and Star left the doctor's office, she scheduled an appointment for October.
"Girl, you'd better go home and tell Howie!" Star exclaimed as they walked towards their cars.
Isabel checked her watch. "Yeah, I know. I'm going. Are you going back to AJ's?"
"Not right away. I want to stop at that candle store I saw on the way here. I need incense and candles."
"Okay. I'll see you later!"
"Hey, Iz, congratulations!"
Star got in her car, gave Isabel a thumbs-up, and left the parking lot.
She stopped in Aromas, the candle store, and went inside. She had a feeling that someone was watching her, but she shook it off. She wandered through the store, getting incense, an incense burner, and some scented candles. She didn't even notice the guy following her.
"Hello, Star. Did you miss me?" the mysterious person asked behind her.
She froze in fear, and turned around slowly.
Robert was standing there, eyes blazing.
"Aren't you glad to see me, baby?" he asked.
"Well, yeah, but what are you doing here in Orlando?"
"We have some unfinished business, Star."
"What do you mean unfinished business? It's over between us remember?"
He reeled back. "I won't tell you here," he said ignoring her last statement. "Why don't you meet me for dinner tomorrow night at Bridges? I hear it's a great place."
Star hesitated. "All right."
"Great, I'll meet you there at seven," he said as he left.
She watched him leave. "Oh, God. What have I done?" she asked aloud.
