The One Chapter 15
"AJ, do you have any idea what day it is?" Kevin screamed into the phone twenty minutes later.
"What? It's Tuesday, Train. Why are you asking me this?"
"We have a video shoot today and you were supposed to be here an hour ago!"
"Oh shit! I'm sorry, Kev."
"You'd better be, Bone. Get you ass down here now!"
"Calm down. I'm on my way!" He hung up and sighed. "Baby, I'm sorry. That was Kevin if you didn't already hear. I have to get to work."
Star kissed him on the cheek. "Don't worry, honey. I'll be fine."
AJ shook his head. "I don't you to be alone. Not while he's here in Orlando." Then he got an idea. "Why don't you come down to the shoot with me?"
"Are you sure? I'd get in the way."
"I'm positive. You won't get in the way. Izzy, Serena, and Angela are going to be there, so you won't be alone," he said as he pulled a black cap onto his head. "I promise."
"Okay, I'll go. I'll go. Just don't give me the puppy dog eyes."

The happy couple arrived at the set twenty minutes later, holding hands.
"I'm here!" AJ yelled as he walked towards the other Backstreet Boys.
"You cost us some valuable time, Bone," Kevin said.
"I'm sorry, Train. I thought the shoot was next week."
Isabel ignored them all and glanced towards Star's hand, which was entangled in AJ's. She smiled. "It's about time you two got together!" she exclaimed.
AJ and Star just smiled.
"Guys, knock it off," Howie said. "Isabel and I have an announcement to make."
Howie put his arm around Isabel's waist. Isabel cleared her throat. She took a deep breath.
"Howie and I are going to have a baby."
"Aw, man!" Nick exclaimed. "How the hell did that happen?"
They all laughed. AJ said, "Well, Nick, when a man and a woman fall in love and want to have a baby-"
Nick blushed. "I know that! But, seriously, how the hell did that happen?"
Isabel had an evil grin on her face. "Remember when we came over to your house two months ago and you went out?"
"Well, yeah, but what does that have to do......" He trailed off, his face turning scarlet red. "You didn't!"
They all laughed at Nick's expense. "No, we didn't, but your face was priceless!" Isabel said, laughing. "I wish I had a Polaroid for that!"
They all shook their heads. "Not for nothing, guys, we have work to do," Kevin said. He walked over and hugged Isabel. "Congratulations, you two. You'll make great parents."
After all the commotion was finished, Isabel grabbed Star by the wrist. "Girl, you're telling me everything!"
She dragged her to the front of the theater. "So when did you guys get together?"
"About an hour ago. I had a horrible night with Robert. AJ found out before I could tell him. He wasn't happy about it."
"I know. I told Howie. I guess he told AJ at the photo shoot yesterday."
Star sighed. "It's alright. Anyway, this morning, I wanted to talk to him about last night. So, I went to his room and he was singing."
"What song?"
"I don't remember the title, but I know he wrote it."
"It has to be 'If You Knew What I Knew'."
"So, anyway, I went into his room and we talked. He gave me a necklace. We talked about how obsessive Robert is, and we talked about our feelings for each other."
"He's so sweet," Isabel said. "You're really lucky."
"You are too! Howie's a great guy."
"I didn't mean it like that! I'm happy with Howie, mind you."
Star shook her head. "Let's go see the video shoot! I want to see my man act!"
Isabel rolled her eyes, and followed Star to the director's area to watch the shoot.
