Hari: Om
The present youth
group web site was developed in order to have a web presence for the youth
group. This requires many changes based on feedback from members of the
community. I propose that to address the deficiencies faced by the present web
site, we construct a professional web site with paid hosting. A detailed plan
for the construction deployment and also the maintenance of the web site will
also be developed.
Objectives:
Ø To upgrade the current web site of the youth group to
a professional web site.
Ø To have an easy accessible web site which is free from
the present free hosting advertisements and banners.
Ø To reach many people to join the youth group as a well
designed web site, the best marketing tool in the present era.
Ø To reach the youth through providing good “content”
about the Temple and Hinduism.

2.
The No of Volunteers has to be
estimated on the fact that each can contribute up to 3 – 4 hrs per week.
3.
A minimum of 4 – 5 Volunteers has to
be involved in the process on an average every week to distribute the load
evenly.
4.
There is no specific cushion time as
it was taken into account while time allocation.
The next major issue to be sorted out
is identification of a Web hosting service provider to host the Web site and
assessment of the amount of contribution towards the project and the
contribution cycle.

Notes:
*Big pond
registers only the “.com.au” extensions and thus we have to register ourselves
with a registrar like Melbourne IT for A$59.00
**Also we can consider the option of Home Hosting by a person having a DSL Connection
^ Both download and Upload included
1.
All the providers give the FTP access
to the sites.
2.
Big pond gives the IIS console for the
maintenance
3.
There are charges varying for the
excess traffic.
4.
We have to decide upon the manner in
which we can distribute the cost amongst ourselves.
5.
Only few have been chosen for the
comparison purpose. Thus we have go for the rest of the players in this market.

Plan for the further detailed study of
