Journey
competed in the annual Washington Classic held July 5th & 6th
of 2008. She went into the competition with 15 class points
out of the hundred that she needed and no majors acquired yet.
There were three shows offered, two on Saturday and one on
Sunday. At the tender age of 8 months she earned all but 4
class points and all three majors that weekend including three Best Of
Breed, three Group #1 Northern Group and three Reserve Best In
Multi-Breed Shows. Those wins placed her #6 in the UKC Top
Ten for August being the only class dog listed with 9 other Grand
Champions on the list. Below are photos of that weekend.
Journey completed her Champion title under Judge Lynn Martin at the
Longview show a couple weekends later earning another Major as Best
Female.

VERY FIRST BEST IN SHOW under Judge Sandra Drake!
To
say we are proud of our girl is an understatement!
Journey is a multiple Best In Multi-Breed
UKC Show winner and multiple Reserve Best In Multi-Breed UKC Show
winner. We're excited to see how she progresses as she
continues to mature into the lovely lady we envision that
she will.
Here are some pictures of her AKC show wins.
Journey finished her AKC Champion title in June 2009
at 19 months of age. We plan
to show her in International competition in February 2010 and
also travel to Canada for their shows in 2010 since
the American Eskimo Dog
is now recognized in the Canadian Kennel Club.
Our New AKC Champion!

"Journey"
A
very big thank you to all our judges that have placed Journey in her
wins. An even bigger thank you to her breeders, Vada
& Jim Binick and Kit Kelly for allowing us the pleasure of
caring for this lovely little girl. Her pizazz and sparkle in
the ring is refreshing but her sweet temperament and loving nature
supersedes any and all trophies she may acquire in her show career.
After all the shows and accolades and they are retired from
the show ring, they are foremost our beloved pet and companion for the
rest of ours and their precious lives.
