1999 My beautiful wife.

The Lord has blessed me with an incredibly patient, loving, supportive and tolerant wife. Did I mention "tolerant"?

With my career as a screenwriter, she has certainly been all those things. I could not have done it, nor could I do it without her. She supported me in many ways (morale, financial) as I tackled this industry.

To the right is a drawing of Shari as seen by a street artist at the Vancouver Aquarium in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I was supposed to be in the picture too, but the artist was incredibly slow!

We would have stayed for the whole picture, but we were with a tour group of Japanese students I had been teaching, and our bus was leaving!

This is her "apprehensive/tolerant look". The look I get when it appears I don't know what I'm doing or what I'm talking about.

I see that look quite a bit, by the way.

Shari has been actively involved with caring for people since she was in high school. Her first job was as a Certified Nursing Assistant for a local rest home. Since then, she has provided child care and adult care for facilities.

Her involvement with childcare included care for children with severe mental and physical disabilities. She was amazing!

Currently, Shari is the resident manager for the two adult family homes her parents own and operate in Washington.
