Christmas On Death Row
This was released as a public relations measure. With this release, if any critic started saying
how Death Row only produces that rap music that rots kids minds and causes violence (which some do say), Suge could counter by saying that they have in fact released an album that truly does contribute to the religious Christmas spirit. Some might see that as not possible, but it did
really work - in my opinion.
This is great music that can be listened to at any time. It isn't so Christmas-y sounding that you let it gather dust eleven months out of the year. It's good stuff. As with most seasonal albums, it was marketed very little, and thus, it didn't sell too many units. This rare R&B flavored release can be found at CDNOW (just follow my link).
