undefined Chapter 8

Alesia couldn't believe it. She was finally going to see Hanson live. She fell asleep to "With You in Your Dreams". It was the perfect song to fall asleep to because that is just what she did, dream!

"Alesia! Wake up sweetheart!" Alesia's mom said, walking past her door.

Alesia woke up slowly, and remembered her dream.

"Hey mom!!! I had the bestest dream," Alesia said getting out of bed.

"Tell me about it while we have breakfast, okie?"

Both mother and daughter walked down to the kitchen. Mary walked over to her coffee maker, and put some water on to boil. Alesia walked over to the cupboard, got out a bowl, opened the fridge next to her and got out the skim milk. She sat down next to her mother and sighed.

"Man, I am such a ditz! I forgot the cereal," Alesia said as she stood back up, and grabbed her all time favorite cereal.

"Alesia, honey, don't you think it's time you changed what you eat on Saturday? I mean, you've had the same thing ever since you were five years old. Doesn't eating Lucky Charms get old after a while?"

"No way! I could live off of Lucky Charms. I really love the marshmallows. They are yummy! In my opinion, it's the best part!"

"Oh, ok whatever you say," replied Mary to her daughters' response.

There was a moment of silence.

"Okie! So, it went like this…" Alesia said, breaking the silence.

"What did?"

"My dream mom!"

"Oh of course. I forgot, continue please."

"Anyway, I was waiting for the Hanson concert to begin, and this guy came up to me and asked to see my MOE card, and he asked if I wanted to meet Hanson. Well, right when I was about to meet Hanson, you woke me up!"

"Oh, I am so sorry sweetie! You just keep on dreaming, and maybe your dream will come true, ok?"

"Ok… what are we going to do today?" Alesia asked while eating her cereal.

"Nothing much, but you have to do your Saturday chores," Mary said pausing in between to take a sip of coffee.

"Oh all right," Alesia said with a sigh of disgust. "I'm going to go clean my room now."

When Alesia got to her bedroom, she thought about what her mom had told her about dreaming. She thought to herself, "Ok mom, I'm never going to stop dreaming."

Back Home!
