No one else can see the visions I do
My vampires and faeries,
Dragons and elves
My daydreams and fantasies
And the music I feel
Are all like forbidden fruit
Look but don't touch
And don't tell lest your tongue be confounded
And your mind misted up
But I try and I find I cannot speak
Of anything I see
I cannot speak of love or hate
Or anger or laughter
There are no longer the words -
Only the pictures.
A picture is worth a thousand words
But a thousand words
Cannot a picture paint.
