Congratulations
to China's dam, GCH Klisse's WVS Jostaberry,
the 1999 National Grand Champion Recorded Grade!
Along
with her nationals win, Josta was also 4xBOB, and several BIS
also.
China has 2x1st, 2x2nd places as a kid. In milk, she placed 1st
and 2x2nd.
Although she freshened with a beautiful udder, her production was
not what it should
be. I suspect that there is a feed deficiency somewhere, and
while I experiment
she will be retire from showing for the rest of the year.
I feel her strongest attributes are her outstanding dairy
character and general
appearance, which carried her to the front of the line, despite
her lack of udder capactiy.

Dolly was born on
February 19, 2000. She is a white Sable, and she is a color
carrier.
She will be shown extensively this year, including the National
Show in North
Carolina. She has placed 1st and 2nd in the one show she's
attended so far. Although she
is slightly small for her age (which may result in her being left
dry this year) she is a
very dairy and has a strong general appearance. She is very wide
throughout and
was especially commended for her strong feet and legs.
