Great Grandma

This is a poem to my great grandma.
Whom I will always love.
You were one that I looked up to,
close to worshipping you.
Even though you were small in size,
with your words, you could
put a person in line or
pick them up and make them
feel like a perfect angel.
You have taugh me many things.
Like when life pushes you down,
you push right back and make
things go the way you need them too.
That part of you lives on in me.
The one thing you taugh me was to
love everyone and forgive the mistakes
they have made. That I have done with
all close to me, I am now teaching my
son that lesson in life.
With all this Grandma I will share
the love you have shown me with
thous who are dear to me.
I will teach my son the same, so that
as he grows up, he will teach thous dear
to him about the love that is
always there and is for everyone.
I miss you Grandma and still think of you,
I love you so much.
Your lessons of love will live on forever,
it starts with me and will be
carried on by my son and his family.
You showed the world a perfect love.

Great Grandpa

My great grandpa's smile could
always brighten up my day.
Though my visit were not
as often as I would have liked.
Great Grandpa always greeted me
with a smile each time I came
to visit.
Each morning he would smile
and ask me if I wanted to
take his medicen for him.
I would laugh and smile.
Great Grandpa knew I was not a
morning person.
When I was feeling left out,
Great Grandpa would would
smile down at me and say
come, lets take a walk.
And when it came time to go,
though I would have tears in my eyes,
Great Grandpa would hug me, kiss my
cheek, then smile and say I love you
and come back soon.
My great grandpa's smile was always
brigh and there for me when
I needed him and his smile.
