Seriously in prayer

With her mind she searched for him

But God wasn't there

She lifted her hands up high

And waved them in the air

She prayed even louder

But God wasn't there

She rose to her feet

And talked as loud as she'd dare

She even quoted scripture

But God wasn't there

She got angry and she shouted

And then with a flair

She turned around from that spot

But God wasn't there

If she had stoped and listened

If she had nothing to hide

She would have sensed

She would have known

That God was inside
