Very nice percussion here,
and excellent drive, but that melody voice is awfully...
ummmm... chipmunky, if you
know what I mean. Alvin & the chipmunks should probably steer clear
of BTO. |
American
Woman |
One of my very best hard
rock midis. I love this one a lot.
Of course, there's that chipmunky
voice again, but I just don't care, 'cause the midi drives so well.
(My roommates think I'm nuts when I start rockin' out to my midis...*s*
wonder why?) |
Atmosphere |
I have no idea where this midi came from, or who
created it, but it gets five stars.
Excellent original music, wonderful instrument
choices, beautiful layering. |

I spent quite a while looking for a good midi of
this, which is surprising, since it was digitally rendered to begin with!
Overall, this one gets four and a half stars- there's
a rhythum lag at one point, but otherwise, excellent! |
How Deep
Is Your Love |
Yeah, I know, I know. It's
the BeeGees. It's still a good song, and a nice clean midi. |
Fur
Elise |
Those who like
this song generally love it. Those who don't usually despise it. I have
one friend who says it's just too "spooky".
Many people have never heard
it all the way through, probably because they hear those telltale first
stranes and tune it out, not realizing the depth of the whole song.
Anyway, I'm one who loves
it, always have, always will, and I think this midi captures it rather
nicely. |
Africa |
The instruments could be a little better,
but very nice overall...Better through speakers than headphones, though. |
Bloody
Well Right |
Another one that really captures the feel of the
original. One really expects the vocals to start any moment. |
Boardwalk |
Pretty nice percussion in this, and the midiness
of it doesn't hurt the organ much at all. |
Canyon |
Like Atmosphere, I believe this was composed by
an online midi guy... Whatever- It's great. Short but great. |
