Okay, my religious attributes (or something??). Hmmm... I'm not sure exactly what i believe right now. I am Pagan, i kinda believe in some of Wicca's teachings, i believe in Reincarnation, and the power of the self. I kinda believe that man is god, but he isn't, since he doesn't know it. Let ne explain. If you believe in heaven and hell, you will go to heaven. if you believe in reincarnation, you will get reincarnated. Now dont say "so you believe there is no truth". With this believe system, if a lot of people believe in something strongly enough, it becomes real, but only to the believers and followers. So, in essence, man created god. Christians created "Jehovah" Jews created "Yahweh" and Wiccans created "the Goddess and the God". Now, for the creator of man, and the earth and the rest of the universe, i just simply believe in the the "big bang" and evolution and everything else. So, I kinda believe in this, and also partially in Wicca, that the Goddess and God are real, but not the creators of the universe. I also believe that God is real, just not realy for me. So i dont believe the i will go to Heaven nor Hell. I also believe that dragons and faires and elves and stuff once roamed the earth and they were abundant. But, since the Christians ahem... ::looks accusingly:: came about and began to predominate the modern world, the majority of people forgot and stopped believing in these "legends and fairy tales". But, i believe there are still a few around. My friend thought of this belief system, that "man is god" and i kinda go along with it. However, I have altered it a little to fit my beliefs. the basic concept is the same, tho.
And dont even get me started on people like Ellen Craswell. first of all,, did you hear about the Church of England not allowing homosexuals in their Chruch services? I wanted to go and protest, but its too expensive. :( but i'll go there someday and visit. anyway, last year or two ago or whatever, ELeen Craswell ran against Gary Locke for governor or washington. thank Goddess that Gary won. I hate people like Ellen. Craswell (what kind of a name is Craswell, anyway!!) She is Republican, super right-wing wacko conservative Bible-Belt Christian. She is anti-gay (hates them-pretty much wanted to diminish their right to existence on this planet) and wanted to put God and prayer in damn PUBLIC SCHOOLS!!! I dont even want to guess how people like this got elected into out state, let alone country!! I mean, how can you want prayer in a public school??? that's the damned point of a public school! separation of church and state. PUBLIC! (think, people!!) i just want 5 min to yell at her and people like her! i hate rush limbaugh, too, but that's another story. bye for now!
