It's Christmas eve, before
the sun,
Hardest work already done.
Toy's laid out under neath
the tree,
Waiting for all the children's
glee.
A choo choo train runs all
around,
On golden rails, from town
to town.
A smiling doll, with big
blue eye's,
Smack her tush, she pout's
and cry's.
The rest of the gifts, are
wrapped up tight,
In ribbon's and paper,
so shiny and bright.
The Christmas light's blink
here and there,
A log on the fire, for
warmth and for flair.
The children are sleeping
in sweet slumber land,
In their mind's they dream
of treat's oh so grand.
Santa is coming, his Reindeer
are towing,
A sled full of gift's,
all hearts are a glowing.
He slides down the chimny,
all black and so sooty,
The pack on his back, crammed
with all kind's of goodies.
When done with his task,
and all thing's are in place,
He flashes a smile across
his fat chubby face.
The cookies and milk, were
gone in a wink,
Put his dirty dishes, in
mom's kitchen sink.
The carrot's he takes to
his Reindeer awaiting,
They stomp all their hooves,
while anticipating.
Then off of the roof, they
fly through the night,
To their next destination,
it's a wonderful sight.
When all work is done,
and they're North Pole bound,
He's sure all is happy,
there won't be a frown.
So rise little children,
and awaken your folk's,
Can't wait any longer,
there's no time for joke's.
Check out all your gift's,
your dream's and the laughter's,
Santa was here, and that's
all that matter's.
