To Rick's Haven..

A place to share the Fantastic person he was..

Rick was my Brother-in-law, and a Very Good Friend.
It amazes me how long it's been since I last saw him.

I can still see that silly grin of his, or the twinkle in his eye.
You always knew when he was up to something.

He was a "Jack" of all trades, so to speak.
Loved the challenge of multiple talents.
I mean we're talking from, Court Recorder
to Hair Dresser and numerous others.
He also Loved dancing, and I mean He knew 'em all
(And Man could He dance!!)

This Guy, could also whip up a batch of Margarita's
that you would kill for.. I can still see him with the blender,
making sure that everyone had some,
and if it got low, he'd be back in the kitchen, making more. :-)
And I understand his Pecan Pie was the Ultimate Tease..
Everyone wanted His recipe, and ya know?
Come to think of it, I don't know
if anyone has it..:-)

He Loved a good Thrift Store or Garage Sale.
"Someone else's Junk was His Gold" :-)
He also had the talent of finding
the "Good" stuff! Like a "Tiffany" lamp
and we're talking the real thing.
I found a picture that was a
perfect match to the drapes he had.
So needless, to say, he was definately
thrilled when he got it.
And both had come from not only thrift stores,
but from different States.
