Circle Reported Near Dease Lake, British Columbia: Preliminary Report - August 2, 1999
Another circle report, the fourth so far this year.
Report received August 19, from Jeff Otto, via David Pengilly of UFO*BC. After initial e-mail correspondence, I spoke to Jeff this evening about what he saw.
Single circle in wild grass, about 90 km south of Dease Lake, in northern BC, about 300 km from the BC / Yukon border. Close to Ealve Lake. Approximately 100 feet diametre. Spotted by Jeff at about 5:00 am on August 7 while driving north to Dease Lake along the right hand side of the Junction 37 Highway. Very remote location. Circle is reportedly flattened down very clearly among the standing plants. Further details when available. Paul Anderson, Director CPR-Canada

Diagram of Montebello, Quebec Formation August 21, 1999. Attached is a gif diagram (preliminary, © Paul Anderson, CPR- Canada) of the formation found July 15 (reported August 10), near Montebello, Quebec, based on sketch by Margaret Haberl, who first found it. Said to be the "size of a football field" (approx. 300 feet). Said to be more curved than initially depicted, following the contour of a hill it is close to. Make of it what you will! Messages in the wheat:
UFOs have been seen at or near crop circle formations with regular frequency, as one CIA document would attest. Messages in the wheat, as in the form of crop circles and/ or symbolic figures found in wheat formations seem to attest to the following translation:
One example of a fairly recent example is the marking, found above.
Let's start with the AO symbol, followed by what appears to be a slash mark, (AO=Alpha/Omega=God).
The second part of this translation is in the form of the fish, or Icthos (meaning=Jesus Christ, God's Son, Our Saviour) that was and still is an early christian icon used to indicate a sect of Christ's followers. Many of you would recognize this symbol emblazoned across the chassis of many American automobiles. The Icthos icon was frequently found in catacombs after the time of Christ's death during the Roman occupation. This was a time to when being a Christian meant certain death. It is preceeded by the letter "P," which is an early Roman Catholic symbol for pax, or "peace."
The third piece of this translation is a powerful statement, for if this hypothesis is true and correct, it would support the concept of the Triune God, popularized by Judeo-Christian theology. The final piece of this translation, involves the symbols following the fish image. It is a sign wave,(spiritual energy) followed by the pyramid (dimensional door) a curved line (indicating a mathamatical representation). What this could mean, is "Spirit."
If this were true, this crop circle would mean: The Father (AO) the Son (Pax Regis, or, "the King of Peace") and the Spirit. Therefore="The Father, Son and Holy Spirit"...have made this. I have not completed the translation and believe that there may be other hidden words in this "Message in the Wheat." (See also "Messages in the wheat," Part II below).
