Chariots of fire is probably the most familiar of UFO references in the HOLY BIBLE.  Misconceptions abound regarding this subject and I hope to clarify the matter for you.  I have heard it said that the Bible is full of inconsistencies and this is not true.  What is inconsistent, is the literal interpretation of the texts.  Old testament writings were rendered in Hebrew and New Testament writings were rendered in Greek.  It is the translation of these original texts that bears the innaccuracies.
