Terrified and Crying

I spent all last night Terrified and crying The whole world just flipped out last night And that’s what was so terrifying I looked death in the face Faced the flames’ warm embrace And the sorrow I’ve kept Burst out and I wept so hard But I keep trying To keep from crying Bind the tears up inside me And if necessary, hide me Keep the weeping hid away So nobody can see or say How I let my tears out into the night… I was far too weary to put up a fight And I know that those tears I shed Will always be there, on my head And I know that at the back of my mind Terrified and crying’s what you’ll find
