Blossoms

                     Rain mists my garden.
                     Sun breaches the clouds.
                     Pear trees burst their buds,
                     blossoming all around.

                     They bounce in the breeze.
                     Their petals drift down.
                     Pear tree blossoms 
                     polka-dotting the ground.

                     Cherry blossoms cling,
                     resisting the wind.
                     Protecting leaves 
                     shelter them.

                     Summer pushes.
                     Spring declines.
                     Cherry blossoms all around
                     polka-dot the ground.
