The Frog's Stang Site

My page is dedicated to Stanger's everywhere. Directly below are links to the other pages on my site. I've listed what I've done to my 'Stang and times I've run afterwards (keep in mind my times were taken at high altitude, expect 1.0 - 1.5 sec quicker at sea level). I'm hoping it will help at least one person make a decision on what their next mod will be. Any questions about parts I have on my car can be directed to me.

The beginning of a sickness...

I bought my 92 Mustang on 29Jan98 and really haven't been online much since, go figure. I was on the way home from getting shocks for my 92 Tbird when I saw the Stang on a stand in a Jeep dealer's lot. So I figured I'd drop in, get a test drive, drive the wheels off of it, scare the salesman riding with me, tell the salesman I decided not to buy it after driving it, then go home with a smile and put my shocks on my car (I used to do this all the time). Something just clicked with me this time though, I couldn't let this one go and I knew it before I even drove it. The car only had 36,000 miles and was in mint condition inside and out, not a sinlge modification. After some negotiations (kinda hard when you have a glazed "I wanna buy this" look on your face), I got down to the price I was willing to pay. A phone call to my bank and 2 hours later I owned a Mustang.

As nice as Mustangs are stock, they can always be better. The day I brought mine home it received a Hurst T handle shifter, removed the air silencer, installed K&N filter, and bumped the timing to 14 degrees. Two days later I had Flowmaster mufflers welded on.

About a month later I put the shocks on my TBird. A month later I was divorced.
