Music Genre: Black Metal

Brief Background: Formally known as Ebony Rain, Cocytus is a project I’ve been working on since I was in High School. Unfortunately due unfamiliarity with the music genre and distance issues with band members it has never been a success. I am currently in the process of piecing it back together. But, for now it is a one man project.

What is Cocytus: Cocytus is the frozen over river stream located in deepest circle of hell (according to Dante Alighieri) where the treacherous are immersed in thick ice suffering in a state of frigid torpor. It is also the place where Satan himself resides, perpetually generating glacial winds.
