Orange Belt Techniques

What follows are brief notes on the mechanics of each technique. These are by no means intended as an instructional manual, but rather as a suppliment for someone who is already familiar with the Sam Pai Kenpo techniques.

Falling Leaves - Overhead (Psycho-style) Knife

• Step left foot forward off axis, as Right hand intercepts knifehand, palm in
• Left hand joins right hand and both hands assist knife hand into opponent's own groin or thigh
• Left hand checks knife hand, as you deliver right inward elbow to face, f/b
• right hand checks knife hand as you deliver left reverse chop to throat, n/b
• Left hand checks knife hand as right hand delivers thumb and finger poke to eyes
• Take knife and cross-out

Entangled Wing - Police wrist grab

• Left hand pins as you lift right elbow to nullify hold (Possibly striking face), as you deliver right front knee to groin, plant on instep
• Left hand peels opponents hand off (Possibly reversing hold now)
• Check and cross-out

Parting Wings - Two hand front push

• Step right foot back to f/b. as both hands come up between opponents arms, and exicute a double counter push to chest/shoulders, stopping forward momentum
• Right inward chop to left floating ribs, as left hand chambers
• Left outward chop to throat as right chambers
• Left hand checks arms down as right hand delivers dragonsfist to solar plexes
• Check and cross-out
