ASCA/AKC Ch. Blue Isle Unzip the Magic (Zipper)
Barb Hager (of Blue Isle Aussies) kept Zipper, and what a pup he turned out to be! We're so very proud of this young man! His first ASCA show for points was 3 days after his 6 month birthday, and he wasted NO time in cleaning up! Zipper's show record on his way to his ASCA Championship:
- Oct. 28, 2006 - WD/BOW/BOB (over 7 specials), 4 pts., under judge Gary Dunlop
- Oct. 29, 2006 - WD/BOS (over 2 male specials), 4 pts., under Breeder judge Liz Smith
- Nov. 11, 2006 - WD/BOW, 3 pts., under Breeder judge Sandy Rees
- Nov. 12, 2006 - WD/BOW/BOB (over 6 specials), 4 pts. to complete ASCA Ch. under Breeder judge Laura Shivers
Way to go Zipper and Barb! Magic's first Champion kid (and at only 6 1/2 months old)! We are SO Proud of you both.
Zipper finished his AKC Ch. in style, with a 3 point major at the OKC show Aug. 18, 2007! Congratulations to Barb!

Zipper has taken multiple BOB/BOS wins in ASCA and AKC. Even MORE fun, Zipper went Best In Show Bred by Exhibitor at the Merlin, OR shows the end of May 2007. What a spectacular boy! We're so very proud of all he's done at such a young age!

ASCA OTCH Ch./AKC GCh. Blue Isle Dance the Night Away, AKC UDX, OM2 (Kenji)
Kenji is owned and loved by Sharon and Joe Willis in Georgia. Kenji began his quest for an AKC Ch. in April 2007, and finished on May 12, 2007! He was handled by Reggie Moorehead, and took majors 3 times in his march to his Ch. - and finished at only 12 1/2 months old! Along the way, he also took 1st in the 9-12 month puppy dogs (over 52 dogs in the class!) at the USASA National specialty!
Kenji took a 4th ASCA major Sun. July 15, 2007, going WD/BOW/BOS (over specials!) to finish his ASCA CH!! Way to go! He has since had a successful specials career in ASCA, with multiple BOB/BOS wins!
Congratulations to Sharon and Joe! Kenji completed his AKC Grand Champion title on August 4, 2011! In 17 days of showing, from July 29th through August 28, 2011 he got 73 GCH points. He had 3 BOBs, 3 group Placements, 7 BOSs and 7 Selects! WOW! Watch for Kenji shown by Reggie Moorehead at Eukanuba in Orlando Dec 17 & 18, 2011. We wish them the best of luck! |

Lovely Kenji
2009 AKC News - Kenji completed his CD, CDX, and UD in just 10 months! He completed all 3 of his basic AKC obedience titles between Jan. 17 and Nov. 14, 2009! Also Kenji finished AKC 2009 obedience rankings with #1 in Utility, #2 in Open and #7 in Novice. He was only shown 4 times in each level - and didn't have ANY NQ's! Truly an amazing accomplishment.
July 16-18, 2010: Kenji finished his ASCA UD, had one UDX leg, and earned 34 OTCH points. Then, Sharon says: "Last weekend (July/Aug 2010) at a Big AKC Obedience show in Greenville, SC, Kenji had another great weekend by getting two UDX legs and one OTCH point. At the 2nd show he tied for second place with 198 1/2 beating 39 Open B dogs. That was his first UDX legs in AKC." WOW!
November 22, 2010: Kenji is #1 in Utility Obedience, and #2 in Super Dog Merit, for ASCA's Current "Final and Merit Standing"(6-01-10 through 9-10-10). He received his AKC "Obedience Master" Title November 21, 2010.
December 7, 2010: Just wanted to let you know that Kenji got his ASCA OTCH on Saturday and now he has 5 UDX legs in ASCA. Kenji went High combined and HIT Saturday and Sunday." You guys are AMAZING! Huge congratulations on all your successes!! Kenji finished the 2010 ASCA year with the following accomplishments: #1 Utility B,
#3 Open B, and #6 Super Dog. He finished the 2010 AKC year with the following placements: #4 Australian shepherd in Utility B, #6 Aussie in Open B, #5 Blue & Gold and #4 Front & Finish! I'm SO proud of you guys!

Kenji completed his ASCA CD in great style on Jan. 10, 2009! He had scores of 198 1/2, 200 (Yes, a perfect 200!), and 198 1/2 - taking High in Trial AND High in Trial Aussie each leg! Kenji was first place in the ASCA Novice Merit AND Novice Finals Lists for the 2008-2009 year!

Chipper is owned by Erin (Mofford) Karasinski in Canada. Chipper finished his Canadian CH in April 2008!! Congratulations to Erin and Chipper - we're SO proud of you!
Chipper had a great time earning his AKC Championship with breeder Barb. He finished on June 11, 2009! Along the way he had a BOB and a Group 4 placing! Way to go!
Chipper also took a 4 point ASCA major on May 30, 2009 under Senior Breeder Judge Gail Karamalegos! It won't be long until he's finished ASCA, too!

We send our deepest sympathy to Mike and Noel on their tragic loss of sweet Cowboy.
Our lives were richer for knowing him, and are poorer for his loss.
He will be greatly missed - especially his wonderful kisses.
As Noel said, "That'll do, Cowboy."
Cowboy was such a love! He was owned by Mike and Noel Ritter. What a lucky boy! :-)
Cowboy made his agility debut at the 2008 ASCA Nationals in Las Vegas. He had some great runs,
and a super start to his agility career! He competed in ASCA, NADAC, and AKC agility,
at the Open and Elite levels.
Cowboy started herding lessons (July 2010) and loved it! The sheepies were his favorite thing. We miss you. |

Blue Isle Is the Rain Falling, RA (Izzy)
Izzy has earned her RN and RA rally titles with mom Josette Stenbom,
as well as 2 legs towards her AKC CD. She made her agility debut on July 16, 2010, at the Mudpack ASCA trial.
She also competed in the Mudpack NADAC trial on July 17 and 18th, with several very nice runs and Qs!
Josette had this to say about her NADAC runs: "Really, Really nice TnG run, with a Q and First on Saturday.
Sunday Izzy had 2 Qs - a Jumpers Q with a 3rd place, and a Regular Q with 2nd. Wow, what a great weekend!"
She'll be racking up the titles before much longer!!
Izzy is such a sweet girl, and is a true delight to her family!
