Sons, Art Publishers to their majesties the King and Queen. Postcard Series No. 1038 "Greater New
York." "In the matter of tall buildings, as seen in the approach to the city by water, New York is without
parallel. The height and magnitude of these architectual wonders, constitute one of the most impressive and
interesting features of the city, and their construction represents some of the greatest engineering skill ever
achieved, some of them towering 390 feet above the street level (is that about 35 stories?), with a fountation
of 75 feet below."

Boston. Very cool cars in foreground!!!!! Other postcards of this hotel show confederate flag flying, this one
has two US flags.
