Gunsmith Cats

The main character of Gunsmith Cats is Rally Vincent, a gun enthusiast who owns a gun shop and a shooting range in present day Chicago. She also works as a bounty hunter with her trusty sidekick Minnie May, a bomb enthusiast who always carries with her an assortment of grenades and other explosives. There's a 6-episode OAV (original animated video) series that's translated into English, and its based on the manga series by Kenichi Sonoda.

I really like this series because its both funny and high on action. It kinda reminds me of the Lethal Weapon movies, except the main characters are girls. Rally and Minnie May make an awsome team -- you'll be sure to get a lot of swashbuckling, explosive action in this series.

Rating: PG-13 for guns, bombs, and Rally running around in her underwear.

Nudity: No sexual content, but Rally runs around in her underwear shooting people in either the first or second episode.

Story Line: Basically, a girls-with-big-guns action flick.

Comedy: A lot -- very funny.

Violence: Relatively violent. A lot of stuff getting shot and blown up. I mean, what more can you expect from a bomb freak (Minnie May) and a gun expert (Rally) who run a gun shop?

Genre: Action comedy. Total Rating: 9/10
