Fire Brigade Patches

WESTERN AUSRALIAN FIRE SERVICE PATCHES:
The Bush Fire Volunteer patch is worn on one shoulder of the uniform, the shire patch is placed on the other shoulder.Some Shires have there own brigade patches.






OLD BUSH FIRE SERVICE PATCHES.





These Patches are the old issue that was presented with your certificate when a f/fighter had completed his training and passed the exams.The first patch {FCO} is the Fire Control Officer,this is given to a senior f/fighter who is reconised capable of running a fire after he/she has past the required theory & practicle exams.The second patch is the Senior Fire Fighter again only given to f/fighters who have past all the requirements, both practicle and theory .The third patch is for Sructural Fire Training which is the training in house, factory, highrise buildings etc and again is only given to f/fighters who have passed both theory and practicle exams.


BUSH VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTER NEW ISSUE PATCHES





These are the current shape/style which is being presented at the completion of courses if the f/fighter passes all theory & practicle exams. This here is the First Aid patch and is presented after completing a Senoir First Aid course with St Johns Ambulance or Red Cross

PATCH COLLECTING.


AT PRESENT I`M COLLECTING PATCHES FROM ALL AUSTRALIAN FIRE SERVICES IN THE HOPE OF HAVING AN AUSTRALIAN FIRE BRIGADE PATCHES BOARD TO HANG IN THE WEST AUSTRALIAN FIRE MUSEUM HERE IN PERTH ,SO IF YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THIS MUSEUM PIECE, ALL I ASK IS TO SEND 2=TWO OF THE SAME PATCH, OLD SYLE AND/OR CURRENT FROM YOUR BRIGADE TO H.
