Eye Guess
Eye Guess
Host: Bill Cullen
Premise: Get the Picture's "Mega Memory" bonus slowed down.
Rules: Two players are shown a board of eight answers for eight seconds, then they are covered. Players take turns answering questions by locating the answer (1-8) on the board. The answer is revealed, and points are scored if the answer is correct. If not, it is covered, and the opponent gets their turn. This continues until the board has one answer left. Another board of answers is displayed.
One question is not among the answers, and the contestant must call "Eye Guess" to claim that answer. Any player to answer five questions in a row correectly wins a bonus jackpot prize.
Gameplay continues until someone scores ten right answers. That player wins and goes for a car.
Bonus: Seven prizes and a STOP sign are hidden on the board. The player picks prizes trying to avoid STOP! and the seventh prize picked also wins (drool) a Camaro from that year. Later, when each correct answer in the maingame won a prize, the bonus offered no prizes, just the car at the end. The odds of winning the car are 1/8.
There are no returning champions.
Home Play: A good game deserves a good box game. It got one.
Travis' Review: Part of the humor of the game was when contestants called wrong numbers and the answer was revealed. The bonus game has been rehashed many times to date, and Bill Cullen was hosting, for crying out loud!
